International AirCargoForum in the Russian Federation
Welcome to Moscow!
Annual AirCargoForum in Russia is a key event for main players of international cargo market who are focusing on air cargo activities on the territory of Russian Federation.
AirCargoForum in Russia is a reputable place for the exchange of the best international practices and further coordination of the efforts to simplify business procedures in Russian transport industry.
AirCargoForum was initiated as a permanent platform to solve the problems of the aviation cargo industry with the joint participation of government and business in order to realize the transit potential of the Russian Federation due to the problem set by the President of Russia to improve the position of the Russian Federation in the World Bank's rating based on business conditions.
In years 2010 and 2012 AirCargoForum was taking place during a so called Transport Week which was supported by Russian Ministry of Transport. The agenda was focused on the following key issues: Russian Transit potential and Integration of Russia to the global logistics system.
The AirCargoForum features the concept of air cargo and specifies new targets to meet to follow such concept. Cargo carriers Cargolux and Air Bridge Cargo signed technical stops agreements with Tolmachevo airport during AirCargoForum in year 2011.
In 2012 the III International AirCargoForum was hosted by the Innovation Center of Civil Aviation (ICCA) with a support of Russian Ministry of Transport and Russian Chamber of Trade and Industry in a close partnership of the leading air cargo market participants – Volga-Dnepr Group of companies, Tolmachevo airport authorities, Frankfurt-Hahn airport management, ATC Air Service Ltd and Trans Sib Air Service GmbH. The last companies’ activities mainly focus on air cargo between Asia and Europe via the territory of Russian Federation.
